The American Bouvier des Flandres Club and the North American Working Bouvier Association are proud to offer four Carting Trials this year.
Carting: Patti Davieau
Born and raised in Sonoma, CA on a 2,600-acre ranch, the love for animals started. Patti would never go outside without an animal following in her footsteps. In high school, Patti started to work with a dog trainer who did a lot of work with aggressive dogs, reactivate dogs, anxiety dogs, impulse, and anxiety control issues. At that point she decided to make dog training her professional career.
In moving to Colorado Springs, CO Patti started to put her training skills to more advance work. In 1993 Patti started with the breed of Bernese Mountain Dogs and to this day still has the breed. In the years to come she became very active with the Conformation ring, obedience, agility, carting (Draft work) and pet therapy work. and service dog training. As she became an accredited dog trainer her career moved to becoming area dog trainer for PetSmart, and after 8 years went to work at Colorado Dog Works, after 4 years there she has now moved to teach at Canine Campus. As an evaluator for the America Kennel Club for Canine good citizen, AKC Community Canine and Urban CGC, also a judge for the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America, and a Pet Therapy tester for Alliance Therapy. Patti is passionate in helping her clients develop a bond with their dog and working as a team. Patti will work with you anywhere from private, clicker training, agility, carting, teaching all types of group classes, pet therapy work, and service dog training. |
Obedience & Rally: Lora Cox
My first dog(I was 10 years old) was a Las Apso. She I and got kicked out of obedience school because she bit the trainer one too many times. Over the years I have become a much better trainer and have trained many dogs to multiple Obedience, Rally, Agility, Tracking, Herding titles and Carting titles. I love to garden, sew, quilt and make cards.
